This model deals with directed motion of a single spherical particle inside a circular container. The particle starts with a random velocity vector. It moves toward the boundary, and whenever a collision occurs, an additional particle is generated while the original one is reflected off the wall. From that moment on, the container holds two particles, each behaving like the original — but with slightly altered vectors. This triggers a doubling cascade.
Soon the container becomes far too crowded! Can you still prevent the disaster?
The container has an adjustable opening. Act fast!
